St. Boniface councillor Dan Vandal will roll up his sleeves this afternoon to clean up green space in his ward.
Vandal and local students will be cleaning up the neighbourhood as part of the inaugural St. Boniface Community Clean-Up. Sixty Grade 7 and 8 students from Collège Louis-Riel will assist in the clean-up.
Students will be picking up litter along Provencher Boulevard and Provencher Park from 1:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
A second clean-up will also be taking place on May 25 in Windsor Park with students from Collège Béliveau. On this route, students will be picking up litter in Vincent Massey Park.
