Photographers will have the chance to show off their best shots as part of Tourism Winnipeg’s new Capture Your Winnipeg 2012 photo contest.
The agency is inviting both local and visiting shutterbugs to submit their best shots of the city. Prizes include tickets to the season opener of the next NHL game in Winnipeg, a $200 gift card to Don’s Photo and other prizes.
“Strong images and photography play a huge role in selling a destination. From all the great festivals and events to great architecture to all the sites of city life and more, the Capture Your Winnipeg photo contest is a chance to show the world who we are,” said Marina R. James, president and CEO of Economic Development Winnipeg Inc.
The deadline to enter the contest is September 30, 2012.
