Lt.-Gov. Philip S. Lee and Culture, Heritage and Tourism Minister Flor Marcelino plant one of two new Amber Jubilee Ninebark shrubs at the Manitoba legislature on Monday, May 21, 2012. The ceremonial tree planting was to honour Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee. The shrubs are located in front of the Queen Victoria statue on the north grounds of the Legislative Building.
