A 22-year-old Carberry man was killed Wednesday during a mishap while on the job in a metal fabrication shop.
RCMP say the workplace fatality happened when material the man was working on collapsed just after 11:30 a.m. in the RM of North Cypress. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police and Manitoba Workplace Health and Safety are continuing to investigate.
The man’s name isn’t being released.
