Sunday calls for a good old fashioned picnic. Oh, and some rain, but let’s not worry about that.
Should the clouds decide to open up as forecasted for Sunday, plenty of tents at Assiniboine Park will act as temporary shelter for the 26th annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
The Children’s Hospital Foundation event will bring kids, teddy bears and parents together for a day of health education, fun activities and entertainment.
The picnic — rain or shine — will begin at 9 a.m. Admission is free.
