Visitors to the Norman Rockwell exhibit at the Winnipeg Art Gallery will be in for a treat this weekend as the exhibition is set to wrap.

The Barbershop Quartet Tempo will perform at the “American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell” exhibit today and Sunday. Performances run 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. both days.

“We are anticipating big crowds for the final weekend of this very popular exhibition and this will probably entail lineups,” said WAG executive director Stephen Borys. “We always want to make our visitor experience as enjoyable as possible and providing entertainment is one way of doing it.”

Tempo often sing the anthems at Winnipeg Goldeyes and Blue Bomber games, and consist of two former Bombers — Ron LaTourelle and Ted Mikliechuk — along with Gordon Sargent and Jim Gilroy.
