A replica of a historic trolley once used to carry passengers down city streets will transport visitors today at Doors Open Winnipeg.

Trolley 356 will depart every hour from behind the Johnston Terminal at The Forks between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The trolley — operated by the Winnipeg Trolley Company — is designed to resemble an original Winnipeg streetcar, with a nostalgic wood and brass interior, soft domed lighting, and attractive orange and cream finish. The 32-seat ride will drop passengers off at one of 15 participating Doors Open sites.
