A toddler was killed Wednesday when she was struck by a sewer truck while playing outside on Cross Lake First Nation.
The accident happened at around 4:15 p.m. when the almost two-year-old child was playing at a neighbour’s house. She was deceased when RCMP arrived on scene.
A 38-year-old man was driving the truck at the time and alcohol is not considered a factor.
RCMP are continuing to investigate.
