A Winnipeg company specializing in solar, wind and battery energy solutions will appear on CBC’s “Dragons’ Den” on Sunday.
Global Wind Group Inc. will pitch in front of a panel of investors to make their case for funding. GWG drove out one of their wind turbines more than 2,000 kilometres to Toronto for the pitch.
The company says the pitching experience was challenging and educational, making note of the need for alternatives to gasoline as they paid $1.50/litre during their road trip out east.
Sunday’s episode will be sponsored by Shell, which will provide $100,000 to the best energy-related pitch.
The show will air at 8 p.m.
