New day camps this summer at the Manitoba Museum will have kids stepping into fiction to become Indiana Jones, dinosaur hunters, and mad scientists.

Day camps will run weekly throughout July and August and introduce children to everything from archaeology to space.

Amazing Science Day and Space Day are just two of the camps offered beginning July 3 to kindergarten to Grade 6 students.

Campers can expect to explore the Museum, Science Gallery, and Planetarium, along with other nearby sites.

“The biggest draw is the campers get to visit all areas of the Museum,” said programs registrar Nicole Maier. “By the end of each camp, some of the children know the Museum so well that they can take their parents on tours.”
