A 20-year-old Dauphin man was killed Monday evening in a rollover accident in Riding Mountain National Park.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. about 25 kilometres south of Dauphin on Highway 10.

The deceased was a passenger in the vehicle, while two other male passengers and the 17-year-old male driver were taken to Dauphin Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol, excessive speed and a lack of seat belts are believed to be factors in the collision, police say.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.

UPDATE: Wednesday, June 6 — The 17-year-old driver has been charged with impaired driving causing death, along with other offences.
