Those wanting to kick the habit of smoking will have access to free tobacco cessation clinics at this year’s Red River Ex.
The clinics will be held at the go4health Expo on Thursday, June 21 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, June 24 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The clinics, part of an effort to raise awareness of the harms of tobacco and second-hand smoke, will be held in partnership between the Manitoba Tobacco Reduction Alliance, Manitoba Society of Pharmacists, Loblaws and Walmart pharmacies, and the Winnipeg Health Region’s Population and Public Health Program.
