People living in The Pas and in Opaskwayak Cree Nation will soon have access to the MTS fibre optic network and Ultimate TV Service.
“MTS is proud to be here today to join with the communities of The Pas and OCN in celebrating the deployment of the MTS FiON Network,” said MTS president Kelvin Shepherd during an announcement in The Pas on Wednesday. “This network employs one of Canada’s most advanced fibre optic technologies, and we are pleased that the residents of The Pas and OCN will enjoy its many benefits.”
MTS plans to have the FiON Network fully deployed to homes in The Pas and OCN by late summer, providing high-speed Internet service to residents.
