Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a crash that killed a 17-year-old Winnipeg girl early Saturday morning.

RCMP say just after midnight a vehicle travelling on Gauthier Road in the RM of DeSalaberry lost control and rolled.

A 24-year-old female from St. Pierre Jolys was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The 17-year-old was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police are continuing to investigate.
