The Winnipeg Jets will open their 2012 NHL pre-season schedule in Edmonton on September 24, the hockey club revealed on Monday.
The Jets will face the Oilers at Rexall Place before returning home the following day, September 25, to host the Oilers at MTS Centre.
The seven-game exhibition schedule continues on September 29 as the Jets travel to Saskatoon to face the Boston Bruins. The Jets will then host the Bruins on September 30 on home ice at MTS Centre. On October 2 and 4, the Jets will meet the Minnesota Wild away and at home, respectively, for a two-game set before hosting the Ottawa Senators on October 6.
