The Out to Lunch summer concert series put on by the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ continues today from 12-1 p.m.
The weekly performances will run all summer until August 31 at Air Canada Park, 355 Portage Avenue, and on Edmonton Street between Portage and Graham.
“This year’s Out to Lunch concert series is bigger than ever before,” said Stefano Grande, executive director of the Downtown BIZ. “We’ve added a diverse and entertaining roster of musicians, and a variety of things for downtown dwellers to see and do. Summer’s heating up and the downtown is the place to be, especially with events like this one.”
The free event also includes an artisan market, sidewalk sales, local business kiosks, prizes, and giveaways.
In the event of rain, the concerts will be moved to City Place (today only) and Portage Place for all other dates.
