A 44-year-old man died Monday after an apparent drowning at the Selkirk Park Pool.
RCMP say the incident happened at about 1:15 p.m. when a woman spotted the man underwater and notified lifeguards. CPS was performed until paramedics arrived, but the man was pronounced deceased at Selkirk Hospital.
An autopsy on the local man will be performed in the coming days.
His name will not be released.
