Fire Erupts Inside Vacant Bannatyne Avenue Home

A vacant home in the 500 block of Bannatyne Avenue was ravaged by fire early Thursday morning.

The home located at the corner of Bannatyne and Juno Street was extinguished by about 8:15 a.m.

Crews could be seen using axes on the roof and on the front door to gain access to the property.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation and a damage estimate isn’t yet available.
