A Shamattawa man has been charged in the alleged killing of a 51-year-old area resident.
RCMP say Lawrence Moses Redhead was found deceased on Friday at about 6:30 a.m.
As the result of an investigation, 35-year-old Reynold John Neepin has been charged with manslaughter.
Neepin remains in custody until a court appearance in Thompson on July 5.
The deceased and the accused are reported to be known to each other, police say.
An autopsy is scheduled for a later date.
