A 47-year-old man from the RM of Eriksdale was thrown from his vehicle in a single-vehicle rollover Saturday night.
The fatal accident happened just before 11 p.m. on Highway 17 near Road 91 North.
RCMP say the 2008 Ford pickup truck was travelling southbound at the time when it lost control and rolled.
The driver, and only occupant of the vehicle, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Seat belt use is considered a factor in the crash.
Traffic in the area was diverted for several hours as police investigated.
The victim’s name isn’t being released.
