A 23-year-old man from the RM of Lac du Bonnet was killed Friday after his vehicle collided with a moose.
The crash happened just before midnight on Highway 304 about 20 kilometres north of Powerview.
RCMP report the man’s 1999 Ford Escort was travelling northbound at the time when it struck the moose. The vehicle lost control and rolled at least once, landing in a water-filled ditch.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
The man’s name isn’t being released.
