Arborg Man’s Beating Death Now a Homicide

Winnipeg police said a severe beating that left a man in critical condition has now become a homicide.

Police said Braden Bjornson, 20, was found with severe upper body injuries on June 29 at about 4:45 a.m. in the 200 block of Machray Avenue.

He had been beaten with a weapon and suffered severe head trauma, according to media reports. Bjornson, who was from Arborg, was taken to hospital where he remained in critical condition. He died on Friday.
