Polo Park’s latest addition to its ranks is an American chain with ties to The Gap.
Banana Republic will open its doors to shoppers at Polo Park Shopping Mall on July 26. In a release, the store said the store will stock clothing for women and men, featuring affordable modern suiting, weekend wear and accessories.
“We’re thrilled to be opening our first-ever Manitoba location at Winnipeg’s preeminent shopping destination,” said Troy Dunmire, senior regional director of Banana Republic Canada. “Banana Republic’s effortless style, modern appeal and newest store concept will resonate well with the sophisticated Polo Park customer.”
The store will boast an “airy yet intimate interior,” with kiosks set around the store. The store will hold its grand opening celebrations on August 9 at 5 p.m.
