Winnipeg’s West End is home to the city’s newest mural.
The new mural was revealed in a ceremony Thursday morning at India Palace on Ellice Avenue. Painted by artist Brian Gasenzer, the new work is called “India-Wonders & Wisdom” and features the likeness of the Taj Mahal and Mahatma Ghandi.
“When people think of India, these symbols of our country come to mind,” said store owners Ashwani and Saroj Nagpal in a press release. “They are what everyone can relate to — peace and love.”
