The World Soccer Academy (WSA) — Winnipeg and Special Olympics Manitoba have teamed up for the final match of the WSA-Winnipeg Professional Development League season on Saturday, July 14.

The Winnipeg Wolverines will be playing a split squad exhibition game with WSA-Winnipeg players incorporated on each side before the WSA-Winnipeg and Springfield Demize match kicks off.

The exhibition game starts at 12:45 p.m. at the Winnipeg Outdoor Soccer Complex, 900 Waverley Street, followed by the PDL match at 2 p.m.

“This is a great opportunity to show the value that our organization can provide to the community and great organizations like Special Olympics Manitoba,” said WSA-Winnipeg president Eduardo Badescu. “We are thrilled to work with the Special Olympics’ soccer players and help their program grow.”
