Manitoba’s largest outdoor volleyball tournament has broken a participation record.

MTS Super-Spike — July 20 and 21 at Maple Grove Rugby Park — now has 290 confirmed registered teams. The deadline to register a team is midnight tonight.

The weekend combines fun in the sun on the volleyball court with a handful of big name acts performing, including headliner Big Wreck, Moses Mayes, local rising star pop-rockers Take Me to the Pilot, alternative indy rockers Mad Young Darlings and energy rockers They Say.

Weekend long concert and festival passes for non-tournament participants can be purchased online at SuperSpike.ca for $25. All Super-Spike tournament participants receive free access for the concert series and on-site festivities.
