A raid in St. James on Thursday netted police enough pot to make someone a millionaire.

Winnipeg police said they raided a home in the 500 block of Madison Street on Thursday just after 10 a.m. There, they found two men and nearly 1,000 pot plants, with a street worth of more than $1.1 million. They also found eight 1-lb. bags of pot worth $20,000, and about $65,000 worth of grow-op equipment.

Garry Reid Schindle, 62, and Devron Theodore Lee, 36, face numerous drug possession and trafficking charges. They have been released on a promise to appear.
