Local entrepreneurs will rub shoulders will fellow like-minded individuals during Winnipeg’s Startup Weekend later this summer.
August 10-12 has been designated as the time for innovators to turn their visions into viable businesses during a 54-hour marathon of networking and commerce discussion.
“I wanted to bring something exciting and dynamic to the startup community in Winnipeg,” said Brad Kendall, lead organizer and local entrepreneur. “Startup Weekend Winnipeg hasn’t even happened yet and it has already snowballed into a thriving ecosystem of tech entrepreneurs wanting to make a difference, and truly succeed in Winnipeg. We have now formed Ramp Up Manitoba, a soon-to-be tech accelerator based out of Winnipeg.”
