Two Garage Fires Keep Crews Busy

Two more garage fires in Winnipeg overnight has kept crews busy.

The first one happened early Monday evening in the 100 block of Helmsdale Avenue near Henderson Highway. The garage appeared to be gutted. There was no word on injuries or a damage estimate.

However, there is a damage estimate for another garage fire on Aberdeen Avenue. This one happened at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday morning and caused $4,000 damage. Police are investigating and are calling it a possible arson.
