The University of Winnipeg Wesmen basketball team has recruited two more players for the upcoming 2012-13 Canada West season.
Sam Hattin and Jordan Clennon have committed to the Wesmen, head coach Mike Raimbault announced Tuesday.
Hattin joins the Wesmen after playing two years at Erie Community College in Buffalo, New York. The 6’5” wing from Hamilton, Ontario led the Kats to back-to-back district three conference championships and a fourth place finish at the 2010-11 NJCAA Tournament.
Clennon is a 6’1″ guard coming from Missouri State University-West Plains. He played high school basketball at St. Edmund Campion in Brampton, Ontario and was named the most valuable player in his final two seasons.
