Winnipeg Police have arrested two men after they allegedly robbed a store in west Winnipeg.
Police said the pair of men walked into a store on Cavalier Drive at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning with a weapon and wearing disguises. They made off with cash and merchandise and fled in a stolen car.
Police caught up with the pair two hours later in the 500 block of Rue St. Jean Baptiste. The pair ran away on foot, but were caught up with at 8:30 a.m. near Provencher Boulevard and Des. Meurons Street. The merchandise and the weapon used in the robbery were found in the vehicle.
Clifford Gordon Guimond, 24, and Travis Bradford Courchene, 28, face numerous charges.
