Crime Stoppers and PAW Tipsters Team Up to Stop Animal Abuse

July 19, 2012 12:42 PM | News

If you see an animal being abused, it’s easier than ever to do something about it.

Winnipeg police announced Thursday that Crime Stoppers will be teaming up with PAW Tipsters, a non-profit organization that combats animal abuse.

Tips about puppy mills, dog fighting rings and animal abuse will now be taken at Crime Stoppers and the information passed on to appropriate agencies. Rewards for tips may be given out, depending on the outcome of the investigation.

Crime Stoppers can be reached at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
