The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are looking for a sellout for Thursday’s home-opener.
So far, 27,000 tickets have been sold for the July 26 game at Canad Inns Stadium, but a sellout would tie a franchise record of eight consecutive game sellouts, a record that has stood for 59 years.
The first 10,000 fans will receive thunder sticks to generate some noise. The half-time show will feature a tribute to former Bomber head coach Cal Murphy, who died earlier this year.
Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.
