The new Millennium Library Park in downtown Winnipeg will be celebrated with a party on Wednesday, August 15.
The Winnipeg Arts Council, Downtown Winnipeg BIZ and the Winnipeg Public Library are inviting the public to enjoy a wine garden, refreshments and tour the newly renovated park.
Entertainment will be provided by John K. Samson & Veda Hille, the Keith Price Trio, DJ Mama Cutsworth, Shakespeare in the Ruins, and others.
The evening will also recognize two new art pieces in the park, emptyful, and Sentinel of Truth.
The celebration will take place at 251 Donald Street from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
