Winnipeg police arrested a 28-year-old woman Sunday after she allegedly set fire to a home in the 300 block of Magnus Street.
Louise Joan Blyth of Winnipeg was taken into custody Sunday at about 10 p.m.
Police say Blyth set fire to the residence, which had seven people inside at the time. Everyone was able to escape safely.
Blyth is facing three counts of attempted murder, two counts of arson, including disregard for human life and damage to property, and possession of incendiary material.
Damage is estimated at $15,000.
The arson unit continues to investigate.
