The Manitoba Horse Council (MHC) is celebrating Horse Week 2012 beginning this weekend, signalling the start to a week of activities to promote and celebrate the horse industry in Manitoba and Canada.
From August 11-18, Horse Week will create awareness, provide education, and increase participation in equestrian sport and activities.
Events are planned for Birds Hill Park, Springfield, Hazelridge, Winkler, Eriksdale, Killarney and Gladstone on Saturday.
