The Winnipeg Goldeyes claimed left-handed pitcher Daniel Morari off waivers from the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Saturday.
The 25-year-old went 1-1 with a 3.68 ERA in 27 appearances out of the RedHawks’ bullpen. Prior to this season, Morari, a product of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, played two seasons for the Calgary Vipers of the North American Baseball League. He posted a 1.98 ERA in 36 games with the Vipers last season.
The Fish host the Wichita Wingnuts tonight at Shaw Park. The opening pitch is at 6 p.m.
