August 15, 2012 6:54 AM | Entertainment

Manitoba Music is ready for a full fall season with several workshops planned for the local music industry.

MusicWorks will focus on timely topics like effective live performance, publicity and release planning, producing viral videos, DIY touring, co-writing, merchandising, and other topics.

Manitoba-based artists will also lend their expertise, such as Pocketgigs’ Chris Gaudry, Comeback Kid’s Jeremy Hiebert, and songwriter/producer Chris Burke-Gaffney.

The workshops will be held in the Manitoba Music Resource Centre, 1-376 Donald Street, unless otherwise listed. Space is limited and advance registration is encouraged.
