
Disraeli Bridge (STAN MILOSEVIC / CHRISD.CA)
The northbound and southbound lanes of the Disraeli Bridge will close tonight.
At 7 p.m., the city will close the southbound lanes to allow concrete to be poured on the new bridge. The northbound lanes will be closed for the first phase of the construction of the pedestrian overpass.
Suggested alternate routes in the immediate area are the Redwood Bridge, Provencher Bridge and Louise Bridge.
The bridge sidewalk will continue to be open to pedestrian traffic during the closure.
Midwinter Avenue from Talbot Avenue west of the Disraeli Bridge to approximately 100 feet east of the existing bridge structure will also be reopened to traffic on
