Construction will start today on a three-week project to abandon an aging water main on Kennedy Street between Broadway and the mid-block north of Broadway.
The City of Winnipeg will be closing the east and west curb lanes and one centre lane of Kennedy Street throughout the duration of the project. There will also be no loading zones or street parking in the construction area.
The work will cost about $100,000 and is expected to be complete by mid-September.
