If you need to contact Manitoba Public Insurance for any reason in the next few days, better do it before the Labour Day long weekend.
In order to update their computer system, MPI’s service centres and contract centre will be closed Saturday, September 1 until Monday, September 3.
Customers planning to visit an Autopac agent during this time are encouraged to do so before the Labour Day weekend as some Autopac agents will also be closed.
“Manitobans who are in a collision, or need to make a claim, can do so the next available business day (Tuesday, September 4),” said Christine Martin, vice-president of MPI’s service operations.
“Like any business, we take the steps necessary to ensure our systems remain resilient and reliable. Such major system upgrades are extremely rare and we fully appreciate the cooperation of our front-line Autopac agents and the Insurance Brokers of Manitoba.”
