If you’re staying in town this long weekend, maybe cleaning out some unwanted items in preparing for next weekend is in order.
The city’s fall Curbside Givaway Weekend will be held September 8 and 9.
As always, items in good condition can be left on the curb to become someone else’s treasures. Each item should be labeled with a “free” sticker, with leftover items removed by dusk on Sunday.
Any items that you don’t want picked up should be safely tucked away from the curb.
Example items include books, CD, DVDs, furniture (excluding mattresses), sporting goods, clothing and other unwanted goods.
