The days of splish-splashing at The Forks are coming to an end.
The splash pad at Variety Heritage Adventure Park will close for the season on Monday at 9 p.m.
The park itself will remain open for the public to enjoy, but the splash pad will stop operating after Labour Day until June 2013.
The Variety Heritage Adventure Park was unveiled earlier this year as a world-class active-learning and discovery park for children of all abilities featuring unique play structures designed to reveal the historic themes of The Forks National Historic Site.
