The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ unveiled the lineup for this year’s ManyFest on Tuesday.
From September 7-9, Broadway will transform to become the hub of several festivals wrapped into one.
“Winnipeggers are in for a surprise at this year’s ManyFest,” said Stefano Grande, executive director of the Downtown BIZ. “At Winnipeg’s biggest downtown street party, there’s something for everyone. With events like ManyFest, we’re seeing communities becoming more active, engaged and excited about what our downtown has to offer — this festival is just another opportunity to celebrate and be proud of our city.”
Festivities include the Lights on Broadway, wine festival, Ciclovia, a farmers’ and artisans’ market and more.
ManyFest is proud to support Change for the Better, an initiative that supports homeless employment programs. To up the ante this year, attendees will get the chance to try and dunk a local celebrity at the Change for the Better dunk tank booth. $20 gives you five balls and a tax receipt.
