A new large digital display is turning heads on the University of Manitoba’s Fort Garry campus.
The digital information kiosk from RVSN Media Group Inc. provide up-to-date notices and alerts to students and visitors on campus.
The 42-inch double-sided display is located in University Centre. To encourage students to interact with the new screen, RVSN is giving away digital goodies as well as tickets to the Ludacris and K’Naan concert on Friday, September 14 at the Max Bell Centre to students who bring a food donation for Winnipeg Harvest.
“When technology and human need come together, that’s when the world changes quickly, for some,” said David Northcott, executive director of Winnipeg Harvest. “Our goal at Harvest is to end the need for food banks. If we can engage the minds of the world’s future leaders and innovators, we’ve got a real shot at doing it.”
