Six Winnipeg homes had their exteriors repainted over the weekend, as Take Pride Winnipeg stepped in to assist home owners physically or financially unable to do the work themselves.
Along with the help of the Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba and local businesses, the freshly painted houses now add vibrancy to their neighbourhoods across the city. The event was also a team-building opportunity for everyone involved.
In June, two homes were repainted with the help of University of Manitoba students and employees of MacDon Industries.
This past weekend marked the final days of the Brush Up Winnipeg program for 2012.
