RCMP seized two ounces of cocaine during a traffic stop on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers pulled over a 2012 Dodge Caravan on Highway 6 about 10 kilometres south of Lundar, where they discovered the driver to be in possession of the drugs. The street value of the cocaine seized is estimated at about $1,600.
The 59-year-old Easterville man is facing several drug-related charges and will appear in court at a later date. Five female passengers in the van were released without charge.
Police are continuing to investigate.
