A little more than a week after Power 97’s entire morning show resigned amid a contract dispute, the station has posted ads looking to fill the positions.
Corus Entertainment on Thursday began searching for two morning hosts (job #1, job #2). The deadline to apply is October 4.
As was widely reported, the “Wheeler in the Morning with Philly and Rena” show moved to competitor 92 CITI FM. The show debuted this past Monday.
In a message on its website, Power 97 program director Matt Cundill said, “We are pleased to report that our new plans for our morning show will be revealed in the weeks ahead.”
