The Winnipeg Public Library has launched its own smartphone app, allowing users to search its catalogue to find books, music, movies and other items.
The WPL to Go app is available to iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry and Windows phone users. Apple and Android users can also search their device’s marketplace for “Winnipeg Public Library” to get a direct download or by visiting Winnipeg.ca.
Other features include checking your library account, renewing material, placing new requests and more.
