A 41-year-old motorcyclist has succumbed to his injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Sunday.

Manitoba RCMP say the man and his 43-year-old wife were travelling on a motorcycle in the RM of Rockwood just before 1 p.m. when their vehicle hit a minivan. The crash happened on Road 10E near the junction of Road 74N when a southbound minivan travelling on Road 10E pulled into a driveway to do a U-turn. The motorcycle, also travelling southbound, collided with the van.

The RM of Armstrong man driving the motorcycle was taken to Stonewall hospital and later transferred to Winnipeg, where he succumbed to his injuries. His wife was released from hospital.

The 64-year-old Stony Mountain man driving the van wasn’t injured.

Police are continuing to investigate.
